Quick answers to common questions about DuttLabs apps.

Most DuttLabs apps support iCloud sync. To enable it:

  1. Make sure you're signed into iCloud on all your devices (Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud)
  2. Ensure the app has iCloud access enabled (Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Apps Using iCloud)
  3. Open the app and go to Settings to enable sync

Sync happens automatically in the background. Give it a few minutes when first setting up a new device.

If your data isn't appearing on a new device, try these steps:

  1. Verify you're signed into the same Apple ID on both devices
  2. Check that iCloud sync is enabled in both the app settings and iOS settings
  3. Ensure you have an active internet connection
  4. Wait a few minutes - initial sync can take time
  5. Try force-closing and reopening the app

If the issue persists, contact support with your device details.

Yes! All DuttLabs apps are designed to work fully offline. Your data is stored locally on your device and doesn't require an internet connection to access.

iCloud sync requires internet to transfer data between devices, but if you're offline, the app will sync automatically when you reconnect.

Your purchases are tied to your Apple ID. To restore them:

  1. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase
  2. Open the app and go to Settings
  3. Look for a "Restore Purchases" button and tap it

The App Store will verify your purchase and unlock all features. If you're still having issues, make sure your payment method is valid in your Apple ID settings.

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID, not within our apps. To cancel:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
  2. Tap your name at the top
  3. Tap "Subscriptions"
  4. Find the DuttLabs app subscription and tap it
  5. Tap "Cancel Subscription"

You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.

No. We don't collect, store, or sell any personal data. Your information stays on your device or in your personal iCloud account. We don't use analytics SDKs, we don't track your behavior, and we don't have access to the content you create in our apps.

Most DuttLabs apps include an export feature. Look for "Export" in the app's settings or sharing options. Depending on the app, you can typically export to:

  • PDF documents
  • CSV files
  • JSON for data portability
  • Native format backups

Your data belongs to you, and we make it easy to take it with you.

If you're experiencing crashes, try these steps:

  1. Force close the app and reopen it
  2. Restart your device
  3. Make sure you have the latest version of the app from the App Store
  4. Ensure your iOS/macOS is up to date
  5. Check that you have enough storage space on your device

If the problem continues, please email us at support@duttlabs.app with:

  • The app name and version
  • Your device model and iOS version
  • What you were doing when it crashed

Platform support varies by app. Each app's page in the App Store lists which platforms it supports. Many of our apps include:

  • iPhone: All apps
  • iPad: Most apps with optimized layouts
  • Apple Watch: Select apps with companion experiences
  • Mac: Some apps via Mac Catalyst

Check the individual app's listing on our homepage or in the App Store for specific platform availability.

  1. Email us at support@duttlabs.app with "Feature Request" in the subject
  2. Include the app name and describe the feature you'd like
  3. Explain how this feature would help you

We read every suggestion. While we can't implement everything, user feedback directly influences our development priorities.

It depends on your settings:

  • Local data only: If you only use local storage (no iCloud sync), deleting the app will delete your data permanently.
  • iCloud sync enabled: Your data is stored in iCloud and will be restored when you reinstall the app on any device with the same Apple ID.

Before deleting, we recommend exporting your data as a backup, just in case.

DuttLabs is a one-person studio, and I've chosen to focus exclusively on Apple platforms. This allows me to:

  • Build truly native apps that feel at home on iOS
  • Take full advantage of Apple's frameworks (SwiftUI, CloudKit, HealthKit, etc.)
  • Maintain high quality across fewer platforms

I'd rather make great apps for one platform than mediocre apps for many. There are no current plans for Android versions.
